For the EYEE consortium "Ethical Young Entrepreneurs in Europe", co-financed by the European Union, representatives of ADINVEST International intervened to support our partner MAC-Team aisbl to carry out a training on Entrepreneurial Mentoring for the programme coordinators in Germany, Austria, France, Italy and Poland.
This session was held at INCUBOXX's premises in Timisoara (Romania) for 13 participants from the various partners of the EYEE project, with the addition of potential Italian entrepreneurs as mentors in the programme.
The European Union, concerned with the level of SME/SMI owners skills, has co-financed multiple projects since the end of 2013 in the framework of the programme Erasmus +, mainly around the SME owners mentoring process:
On 25 January 2018, the Hungarian Employers' Federation MGYOSZ (www.mgyosz.hu) organised a conference on the certification of competence of Business Mentor (MentorCert). After 3 years of collaboration, ADINVEST International, training organisations and universities from 5 European countries, have launched the MentorCert project in October 2017, with co-financing from the European Union, allowing to set up a certification exam recognized on a European scale by all stakeholders involved in the development of SMEs in Europe.
A few years ago, Thibault Lanxade, head of the MEDEF's small and medium-size SME division, summed up a situation that unfortunately hasn't changed much..
"Transformation in companies is crucial. There are about 800,000 entrepreneurs who will retire in the next 10 years. The logic of divestiture and transfer is a real subject, but these bosses who are going to give in at the same time, have to transform their companies, which raises the question of their own operational performance.”
